Evolution of Wind Power
Our first product in development, Windtegrity, combines circular airfoils with Buckminister Fuller’s architectural system known as tensegrity. This allows for a very modular and versatile approach for harnessing wind energy into electrical power.
Tensegrity
With tension-based architecture that mimics natural systems such as muscle and bone, both linear struts and circular airfoils can all be suspended by wires without touching each other. They structures can flex and move with with wind like a tree.
Synthesis of Man & Nature
Windtegrity takes many different pre-existing wind technologies as well as profound concepts of the natural world, such as the double vortex model, and combines them all into one system.
