The Polarities of the Coils
Every star coil geometry has two intrinsic sub geometry configurations of different twisting spirals. The masculine geometry involves a counter-clockwise geometry on the interior of the coil spiraling in while the feminine geometry involves a clockwise geometry spiraling in. The same geometry is reflective on both sides of the coil regardless of what side you are looking at. These contrasting polarities reflect the directional nature of the energies with the coil, fundamentally in terms of its spiraling motion, and in terms of its energetic orientation in how it is used. The masculine polarity is primarily aligned to focalized manifestation and sending energy outwards. The feminine polarity is primarily aligned to expansive manifestation and receiving energy inwards.
This process can be seen reflected with one’s hand chakras which are located in the center of the palm. That is also why one of the best ways to connect and utilize a star coil is by holding it in your hand, especially with the spiral that corresponds to the same polarity with one’s hand chakra. The dominant hand of an individual, such as if you are right handed, is typically the masculine hand of the individual and is best suited to send and transmit energy (also called chi, reiki, or orgone). However, that does not mean the individual’s other hand, cannot also send and transmit energy. This goes for the star coils as well. They are versatile in their function in that they can both give and receive energy seamlessly, just in different proportions and ways. However, there is a specific inclination in the function of each polarity. This is also reflective of how a male human body often emanates masculine energy externally, but also embodies feminine energy internally. Just like the star coils, we carry the whole of creation within our patterned structure.
If you are choosing whether to acquire either a masculine or feminine polarity for a coil, does not mean to choose a polarity based on your physical gender. It is to choose the polarity that best aligns with you at the moment with working with that specific type of energetic. You might choose an octagram star coil with a feminine polarity to attune yourself to greater receivership of abundance and prosperity. However, that does not mean you cannot also use it for the direct manifestation of opportunities to also receive greater abundance. The decision on what polarity to utilize it for is focused on what is the primary application with the star coil are you choosing it for. In general, the feminine polarity is best suited for being worn as a pendant as one tends to utilize information received more from the environment than sending energy outwards into it.

There is also the notion of using two star coils in conjunction, in which the alchemy is heightened when two polarities are utilized together in a complimentary fashion. In terms of vorticular mechanics, two contrasting spiraling vortexes as created by the two polarities of the star coils work together like counter-rotating gear cogs of a machine in a symbiotic manner to create a unified force. The multi-directionality builds the energy in a dynamic way that amplifies and supports the unique power of each.
If you want to wear two star coils as pendants, a masculine hexagram is well suited over the heart chakra with a feminine septagram over the throat chakra for example. The masculine hexagram is excellent for manifestation in general, especially when aligned to the heart and service to creation, while the feminine septagram facilitates the empowerment of ones rhetorical skills to execute the manifestation more gracefully with ease.
This synergistic effect by spacial relativity (ie in near proximity of each other) is heightened even more when one coil is placed inside another coil. Each coil resonates at a particular harmonic frequency and two different frequencies in conjunction create a specific musical interval. A classic example of this is placing a hexagram that is a frequency exactly an octave higher (ie fourth harmonic of the sacred cubit) than an octagram (ie second harmonic of the sacred cubit) inside one another. This configuration is revealed within the Leningrad Codex, the oldest surviving copy of the Old Testament.

Linking two opposing star coils together, especially of the exact same style and geometry, is great for creating a symbiotic connection of both the receiving and transmitting of that specific form of energy. This allows the contrasting geometries to come into a synergistic interdependence and increases the vibrational efficiency of each coil’s functions, both primary and secondary. Having two coils linked, even if one is sitting on your altar or away in a jewelry box, also helps facilitate the mutual purpose of the coils. As in the other coil that you may be wearing as a pendant, is more effective at both sending and receiving energy in its linked state. This information can also be applied to partnerships and relationships to utilize the symbiotic resonance between each other.
The process of linking the coils is relatively simple, and can be done in a variety of ways up to the participants involved in the linking. Essentially, a frequency match in the resonance needs to be established between the two. This can be done through the use of a well crafted spell, placing them both over a programmed crystal for a period of time, or even just sending the pure intent of their binding with one in each hand accordingly.
All in all, the polarities of the star coils speaks to an energetic preference for the primary function of the coil, while both retain the complimentary secondary function as well. The linking of polarized coils or the utilization of them in conjunction, helps strengthen both the primary and secondary functions of the coils even more so. The polarities are a subtlety in one sense, but invite a deeper insight and understanding into foundational principles of their operation that can be essential tools in gracefully supporting us in our own self-mastery.
